The Journal of Future publishes high-quality original scientific articles covering a wide range of academic disciplines and reflecting advanced directions of modern research. The journal follows international standards of scientific publishing and adheres to best practices recommended by COPE.

1. Scope & Types of Manuscripts

The journal focuses on multidisciplinary research and accepts the following types of submissions:

  • Original research articles
  • Review articles
  • Short communications
  • Conference proceedings (special issues)

2. Manuscript Preparation

General Requirements: Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, not under consideration elsewhere, and written in clear academic English. All materials must be submitted through the online system (OJS).

Structure (IMRAD format):

  • Title
  • Abstract: 150–250 words. Must clearly reflect the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions without references or abbreviations.
  • Keywords: 5–7 words to facilitate discoverability.
  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  • References

Formatting Guidelines:

  • File format: MS Word (.docx) or LaTeX
  • Typography: Times New Roman, 11–12 pt
  • Spacing & Margins: 1.15–1.5 line spacing; 2–2.5 cm margins
  • Media: Figures and tables must be embedded in the text, numbered sequentially, and provided in high resolution (at least 300 dpi).

3. References & Ethics

References: Must be relevant, up to date, and formatted consistently (APA, Vancouver, or journal style). Include DOIs where possible. Authors are highly encouraged to cite international literature indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.

Ethical Standards: The journal strictly follows COPE recommendations. Authors must ensure:

  • No plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data (all submissions undergo plagiarism screening; high similarity will result in rejection).
  • Proper attribution of authorship and clear indication of contributions (e.g., conceptualization, methodology, writing).
  • Disclosure of any conflicts of interest.
  • Ethical approval for studies involving humans or animals.

Note: Authors are encouraged to provide ORCID identifiers to ensure proper attribution.

4. Editorial Process & Open Access

  • Peer Review: All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts.
  • Revisions: Authors must respond to all reviewers’ comments, provide a revised manuscript with tracked changes, and submit a detailed response letter.
  • Article Processing Charge (APC): The journal may charge a publication fee. Detailed information is available on the journal website.
  • Copyright & Licensing: Authors retain copyright. All articles are published under an open-access Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license.
  • Data Availability: Authors are encouraged to ensure access to underlying data and provide supplementary materials where necessary.
